  • Apply any font of any color, size and font decoration you need. Use any available type, color and thickness of a menu's frame. Choose any color for submenus and items backgrounds.
  • Set the size of the menu in percent, pixels, or other units. This menu may have a relative (it can be inserted into the table, for example) or absolute position .

Q: I purchased your product yesterday and was quite impressed, but I am having a bit of a problem with my submenuitems. In the general menu properties there is a "Global"   var titemHeight = 22; My problem is that I would like my upper level of my free tree menu to have one itemheight and my submenuitems to have a smaller height. Is this possible?

A: In the XP Style
  var tXPStyle=1;
the item's height for the top items and submenus will be different.

If you want to use
  var tXPStyle=0;

you can set ite's height for the submenus:
  var titemHeight=16;

And for other items use the blank icon with the height you want to have for the upperlevel of your menu items.

Q: I would like to use it in a page containing two iFrames.

The iFrame called "nav" is where the menu will appear and the iFrame called "main" is where I want any sub-menu items to appear.

How can this be done given there are no "frameset" tags in this type of structure?


A: Deluxe Menu doesn't work with <IFrame> objects.
It works with<frameset> objects only. All it can to do with <IFrame> is to loadpages into it.

You should use standard installation for the menu.


Q: When Mouse hover on Menu, menu Items showing below (showing down) the Menu. Is it possible to show the Menu Item List in up direction (above the Menu)? Please assist me in this issue.

You should use the following parameter:

  var smViewType = 1;



Q: The spacing between each item of the top horizontal dropdown menu is uneven but I don't know why.

If you highlight them all it becomes more obvious.

It is almost as if the space after a 2 word link is twice the space after a one word link or else the total space after each link is related to the number of letters in the link.

For example the space after 'Discounts' is greater than the space after 'Home' but the space after 'Envelope Printing' is even greater.

A: You can try to set the following horizontal dropdown menu parameters:
